Home pictures

Basement of our home with all walls framed in. I am explaining to Kristin where her room is going to be.

Looking out the sliding door of the family room.
Side of the house with Kaitlyn's bedroom window.

Looking from Kristin's room towards family room, stairwell, and I am in the storage room.

Pictures of our New House.

A front view of our home on Sunday, June 22. Only the foundation is poured at this time.
View from the back of our home on Sunday, June 22. We have a walk out basement and al windows in the basment are daylight windows, so noe window wells!

This is our home on Monday, June 23rd. They are working fast at getting the lower walls done.

The larger opening in the wall is the location of the sliding doors from the lower family room.

The View of the back from the south side of the home. The opening here is for Kristin's bedroom window.

This is our home on Tuesday, June 24th. We now have floor joists and the basment is all framed. This is the front of the house.

Our New House!!!

As some of you may know, we are having a house built for us. We are very excited!! It should be done in September sometime. Here are just the basics: 1472 sq ft ranch with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths on main floor and main floor laundry. It has a triple garage. Once the basement is done it will have 2 more bedrooms and one more bath with a large family room and a nice size storage room. Kaitlyn is ready to do a Olympic swimming theme in her room and Kristin just wants blue walls with hot pink ballerinas.

Once the basement is done, the girls will move downstairs and we will have an office and a guest bedroom. Take a look at the pictures of our home.

Swim Meet

Swimming her 200 free only 2 events after her difficult 100 fly!!! Go Kaitlyn!!

On Kaityn's 9th Birthday she had a swim meet. It was her first swim meet swimming in the 10 and under group. She had some very hard races. She had never swam more than a 50 butterfly and had a 100 butterfly to swim with a 200 free right after that. She also had to swim a 100 free the same day.
Here she is with her coach right after her 100 butterfly. She knew she did well because Nancy gave her a hug, and Nancy does not give hugs freely!
She did well and was very happy with her swims!! She is definately a fly swimmer!!
The first day of the meet was warm and sunny, the second day, cold and rainy!!
But we all had fun!!!

February 4-6 Kristin had Brown Bear with her. We had to document what Brown Bear did. We took pictures of his activities. Here he is with me, Kaitlyn and Kristin voting at the Super Tuesday Primary. Besides voting, Brown Bear went to swim practice, out for supper, and hung out at home with dad and listened to stories. I think Kristin thought it was pretty cool to share her stories with her class about what Brown Bear did. we had fun documenting it.
